A lot has been made of the 3rd down struggles.....and rightfully so. But, IMO, the bigger issue is the 1st and 2nd down struggles.

The last couple of weeks it seems that our average 3rd down distance has been about 8 yards. Even Romo would have trouble sustaining drives under those conditions.

Not sure why Romo'd need to get brought into this, but whatever.

The distances needed for a first down are not listed. I'm sure not all of them were considered 3rd and long. The fact remains... He's completed ZERO passes on third down the last few weeks, regardless of distance to go. It's not like we're talking about 3rd and 10 and he completes an 8 yard pass.
