I know some turkey frying snobs will claim the electric ones are cheating but I have had better results and nothing beats dropping it, doing something else for a hour and then not having to worry about your deck burning down.

Nice thing about it was being able to use it in the house without worrying about setting something on fire.

Nope. I love deep fried turkey, but if you smoke a turkey right, they are very flavorful and juicy.

Agreed.

This year I had to settle for roasting ours in the oven but we used one of those jalapeno & butter injector kits as well as some other seasonings and it came out pretty good. Not as good as deep frying or smoked but it was moist and flavorful.
