The Last of Us looks like it could be epic.

I have never played the video game. My son is like a maven and he was impressed how it is a frame for frame adaptation at times.

The casting so far has been excellent.

I may have to let it build up because all booze Jr. does is spoil half the shit when you are watching it.

Yeah I played the first game. Great story for a video game and the show seems to have capitalized on the story perfectly. You don't ever see that with video game adaptations. It's usually too hard to translate a video game into video in a way that has the same or even more ability to make you feel for the characters.

Excellent casting and gritty portrayal.

The 2nd game is equally as good, if not better.

I have a lot of high hopes for the show since it is a good story with a great cast. But I also fear this show will be a hit and writers will have to go well beyond the source material because they want 5 seasons instead of 2. GOT has ruined that excitement for me.

Yeah, I know there should at least be a couple seasons of a great show.

Hopefully they just don't start rushing shit the way Game of Thrones did at the end. I actually think that was the bigger problem than a lack of source material. The show always moved slowly and then suddenly it went into warp speed just flying through shit.
