Carp was the only guy I recall who had a hard on for Williams.

The way I remember it, about 90% of the board wanted Merriman.

I did until a show he was on the week before the draft where he acted like a total meathead. And when I found out he had the Postons as agents.

Lookit, I think everyone was full metal homer that day.

Ware...then Spears, who Parcells wanted earlier...Canty...Barber and Ratliff even later.

That was the last draft I was all oh hells ayuh over.

We gave up what, three ones and change for Galloway and Williams combined. That's more inept IMO.
