it's the strangest damn thing to me but my sensitivity to people saying shit to me is virtually nil after decades of callouses built & finely honed in my youth. When I was 5 to 12 years old I might have had similar reactions to peoples words but over time I discovered only I can give other peoples words the power to hurt me.

Its sad these kids have gotten this far in life without realizing this truth which liberates
