WTF? If it wasn't glaringly obvious to everyone before it should be now. They are just looking for any excuse to steal and tear up shit. This should seal it for everyone.

Well, if the police weren't after the guy for murder, then he would still be alive. Still their fault.

This is a perfect example of fake outrage to have an excuse to loot and power trip.
Some of it is fake outrage; some of it is legitimate outrage but for a illegitimate cause. As boozeman satirized above, "If the police weren't after him he'd still be alive." There is an undercurrent that SOME of these people want, and it goes hand in hand with the "defund the police," movement. They want this felony suspect approached by social workers and not police. They do not want black people to have to go to jail, full stop.

That's a huge part of the problem here. Whereas normal people look at a minority person fighting the cops who gets shot and thinks, "Well, it's a shame he died/maybe the police can do better and we can tweak things, but the ultimate responsibility falls on the person who broke the law," .... what these crazy liberal people think is, "The problem here is that these police officers only need to compel someone with force if there is actual documentable imminent threat to someone else and we count documentable as what we laypeople interpret when we see it on video and not what you interpret from your years of police experience and training, and even then, the best course is to let criminals go often times."

What dumbfounds me is, this is supposed to be a movement in support of black lives, but what the police are doing is trying to get the - by astronomically far - biggest actual threat (violent criminals) to black lives off the streets.

If this part of the stated agenda of this movement actually came to be reality on a large scale nationwide, the most negatively affected group as a consequence would be black lives.

I'm sure this will be conveniently ignored or discounted by those with an agenda.

You’d be surprised, or maybe you wouldn’t, how many people think Jacob Blake is dead.

Which officer are they referring to, though?

The sister of an officer killed was honored last night during Pence’s speech. The media said he was murdered by “boogaloos”.
It was a guy that was killed early on in all of this mess.

I'd guess she's talking about David Dorn.

K.

This Underwood guy was killed by some white dude that smeared “boog” in blood on a car hood or some shit. Again, I don’t know if that’s true or not, last night was the first I’d heard that.

Which should be called out by the right, I just didn’t understand Jake Tapper pointing that out last night, I may be wrong, but I don’t think Pence was assigning blame to the rioting BLM and ANTIFA factions.

Maybe he was, I’m not positive either way.
