A weapons charge for what? Possessing a fire arm? I hardly think that's justification to shoot a man. It's not really an indication a person is violent with weapons. Just shows that they may own weapons. But by that logic anyone who owns a fire arm is a threat to officers.

I'm just saying you need more than that to shoot a man in the back. To me there needs to be more than just not listening to officers and trying to go in your car. If he wanted to shoot and kill an officer there would have been much easier ways.

I don't think this is racist or that these cops were trying to kill someone. But I'm concerned that officers go into encounters assuming everyone is going to kill them so they need to shoot before seeing anything. If you or I shot and killed someone we were arguing with because they went to their car where they "could grab a gun," we would all be in prison.

He also had a warrant for sexual abuse, trespassing, and DV.

All I can say is I am sick of the whole thing.
