In Texas it probably wouldn't even be a crime... Weapons laws in some states are stupid and over the top.

In Texas there are a lot of ways you can illegally possess a firearm.

From what I read they don't have body cams in their department yet.

But I agree, did some further reading and there is a ton more to this story. Supposedly cops were yelling for him to drop the knife for example. He also was tased and fighting the cops supposedly.

In the book In the Garden of Beasts: Love, Terror, and an American Family in Hitler's Berlin it talks about how in the the 1930's Americans were getting attacked by soldiers as they window shopped in Germany.


Turns out the nazis had taken so much control by creating a state of fear due to their violence that people had to line the streets and raise their arms like you see on a heil Hitler. If you didn't comply, the nazis would break from their march and attack those who were noncompliant.

The Americans visiting Germany at the time were unaware of this "requirement" and continued window shopping as the Nazis marched by only to find themselves brutalized for their ignorant noncompliance

Yeah, I'm rooting for them as well. I'd love to see people start defending their cities, homes and businesses. You can't rely on government to save you as we have all seen. Someone wants to burn some businesses down I say fire away.

I don't equate this into the same category as George Floyd.

It’s the same mentality. A group of law enforcement personnel deliberately killed a person when there was ample manpower to restrain and incarcerate the individual. The mentality of the law enforcement personnel chose to inflict the maximum physical harm. The motives of the reaction movement has decided to inflict destruction even deadly acts to incorporate in their protest movement. The mentality is the same .
