There is a legit argument to be made for this. Clearly, he does not intend to stop at Ukraine. But it sure would be nice if we could get Europe (whose combined GDP is close to ours) to start footing an equal part of the bill.

1. How far are you willing to go to stop this supposed Putin rampage? Bankrupt this country? Lose our standing as prime reserve currency, which would be disastrous? How far?

2. The Soviet Union back then was far more powerful than Putin's Russian Oligarchy of today. They were the other Superpower. Today, Russia has an economy the size of Texas. They aren't taking over Europe even if they want to.

3. As Cujo said, why can't the Euros pay for this since they're the ones supposedly being marched upon? Why do we have to pay for everything?
