You motherfuckers.
Of course they feel this way. They hate America.
Nobody normally gives a shit about the homeless vets, so what is the difference? You motherfuckers.
Nobody? You can GTFO with that shit.Nobody normally gives a shit about the homeless vets, so what is the difference?
The average person sees a homeless person and most of the time behaves a certain way. Do they suddenly give more of a shit if they happen to also be a veteran?Nobody? You can GTFO with that shit.
I can't speak for everyone but I can tell you that I give a shit.Do they suddenly give more of a shit if they happen to also be a veteran?
Actually, yes.The average person sees a homeless person and most of the time behaves a certain way. Do they suddenly give more of a shit if they happen to also be a veteran?
Unfortunately I believe Booze is right for the most part. It's nice to have the feelz but very few people do anything about it. I do give to the united way through work each month so I hope it's getting to the people that need the help. However I see and hear a lot of my coworkers mocking the annual united way meeting. I wish the representatives would force the government to give a shit but they won't. Too busy lobbying for its own greed.I can't speak for everyone but I can tell you that I give a shit.
Good for you. I am certain if the panhandling dude that has a sign that he is a homeless vet catches your attention.I can't speak for everyone but I can tell you that I give a shit.
I'm not doing this with you right now. Narrative? Jesus Christ, man.Good for you. I am certain if the panhandling dude that has a sign that he is a homeless vet catches your attention.
Thing is, it shouldn't matter if they are vets or not. But they are homeless, so it is okay to just displace with homeless that came over the board illegally. But since they are vets, it helps play into a narrative. For some reason, illegals displacing that group of anonymous winos you have to cross the street to avoid just doesn't play well into that.
There is a broken way we view charities in this country. I have worked extensively with the UW and also CMN as an employer-partner and I can tell you, they aren't hurting for funds. Both of them are so unfocused and ineffective, I can't see what impact they make overall.Unfortunately I believe Booze is right for the most part. It is a narrative that is being fed. Nobody would give a shit if the veteran tagline wasn't dropped into the header.I'm not doing this with you right ow. Narrative? Jesus Christ, man.
I think it's more of a case that we should take care of ourselves first. Instead of that more are brought into the fold.Good for you. I am certain if the panhandling dude that has a sign that he is a homeless vet catches your attention.

I'm not getting behind any American getting displaced for a bunch of fucking illegals, but I damn sure am not for displacing homeless vets, ever.It is a narrative that is being fed. Nobody would give a shit if the veteran tagline wasn't dropped into the header.
Crackheads, vagrants, winos and a bunch of mentally ill people on the streets were displaced for illegal aliens just doesn't have quite the right ring.
This.I think it's more of a case that we should take care of ourselves first.
