A couple of poachers attacked by a lion? This is a fake video
A video shared widely on social media, including more than 6 million views on Twitter, apparently shows two poachers posing in front of a dead lion before being attacked by a second animal. But it is a fake, made by an Australian production company.

It is kind of troubling that fake videos like this are shared over and over, but more troubling is the fact that unless you sit and watch it over and over and study it for being fake, you might not tell. But I guess a lot of people don't give a shit.

The lion is an actual pic of a dead lion, but from a completely different situation. It explains it if you read the story.

Kind of stands to reason. I think the average Joe pretty much understands he can't really rely on a lot of what they are spewing these days. None of them are unbiased.

We have a lunatic fringe of society that used to buy the National Enquirer and Weekly World News that now has access to more misinformation and idiocy. This is when something that should have died away with your gammy with too many cats suddenly develops into its own cottage industry.

On the one hand, Ackman is of course exactly right.
On the other hand -- and several commentators have talked about this lately --it's shocking that he didn't realize this until now. These billionaires have been donating all this money to these institutions without even realizing what cesspools they've become. I guess they just buy the typical NYT/Wash Post propaganda without actually paying attention.
