Makes you wonder, if they hadn't put it on social media, would they even have been caught? We know the charges would have been lesser ones.

But if they couldn't put it on social media, would they even have done this at all? Some sick kind of clout seems to be the reason for this.

Correct.

That and our society is morally bankrupt.

No shit. Remember all the "experts" who claimed if you were dubious about NFTs you were just old and out of touch, that they were practically foolproof?

I own some crypto stuff, but I don't have any NFT's. Just never really thought about it honestly. Most of what I own is just standard BTC.

It's funny how certain things have no real intrinsic value but we treat them as though they do. NFT's are a perfect example of it.

It's why the dollar used to be back by gold. If the general public ever decides that the dollar is worthless, well frankly it would be worthless. The piece of paper only works because everyone agrees it has value. And of course the government backing it helps. But NFT's were like that without government backing. They only had value because people had faith that they did have value. It is silly.

I still struggle as to how they were able to dupe people out of a ton of money for something that does not physically exist.

Yeah, but they don't have the Biden Admin removing barriers and suing them to stop.

Frankly gold is only worth something because people think that it is. It's a rock.

It does have some value due to it's inherent electrical characteristics as well, but not worth what they say it is for sure
