Here's my thing about the whole thing in St. Louis.

They were supposedly marching on the mayor's house to protest getting doxxed.

If you are going to riot and do Antifa-like things, then quit it with the demands for anonymity.

See, I’m okay with them peacefully gathering outside any politician’s house.

Karen and Leonard probably overreacted coming out with the AR-15 and big5 pellet gun, but with all the crazy going on, I don’t fault them. They probably would have kept walking/marching toward the Mayor’s mansion with no issue, maybe not, but maybe.

The public release of names by the mayor or whoever, I don’t know how to feel about that.

It’s there precisely for shit like this. When Law Enforcement is non existent, people have a right to defend themselves if protestors do things like bust their windows out in their cars/homes/businesses or light their buildings on fire, or attack them.

That city needs a new Mayor. Preferably one with balls.

All you do is send in 100 officers with pepper spray and rubber bullets. Have a clear announcement over a megaphone that in exactly 1 hour they need to have themselves and belongings moved away from the scene, anyone standing in the way of the cleanup with first be pepper sprayed, if that doesn’t work, rubber bullets will start flying. Make it clear that you’re being human about it.

One hour is more time than you need to roll up a sleeping bag and tent.
