I think you're looking at the numbers wrong. Recovered requires two negative tests after a positivetest. This is nothing but a quirk of the stats process. You're reading way too much into it. 97-98% of those people will be recovered.

No idea if we are even following through with extra tests of people who test positive and self quarantine. Most of these people who were sick 2 weeks ago should be in the recovered group but they aren't. Every country has different testing policies.

On another board a smart guy has been tracking these numbers worldwide and that recovered number has always been wheels off. I don't think they're accurately reported or even defined from state to state, much less country to country.

Also just an observation, Angry seems eager to find every fault and negative with the US.

Yeah. The guy has his faults. All Presidents do. And there is no arguing that he isn't a bully that enjoys badgering people. And that certainly isn't Presidential. But he is not nearly as bad as the left and their sheep would have you believe. And has done a pretty good job. If he would only stop tweeting and thinking he has to get the last word in. But, I digress...

I doubt we will ever have a President again that will appease both sides and the stupidity will subside. Presidents have always dealt with some snark from the other party, which is understandable, but it really started to take off with Bush and continued with Obama. But even those two didn't have to deal with a fraction of what Trump has. This has really gotten ridiculous. I sincerely hope that the right doesn't try to pull the ignorant bullshit we've seen over the last few years on the next Democrat President. This my team/your team idiocy has to stop. And it's pretty much been proven by the left these last few years that they aren't going to be the ones to do it.
