We switched to take out only and outside dining months ago.

It’s just my wife and I pulling 12 hour days, but it is what it is.

Even when piece of shit(Newsom) ordered no outdoor dining, we kept doing it. We’ll continue to do it starting next week when they initiate the stay at home order and ban outdoor dining again.

I have a group of 8-10 sheriffs and a couple highway patrolmen who eat at our place 2 or so days a week. They always eat outside, they never wear masks Inside while ordering, so I’m going to keep doing what I’m doing.

If the County tries to fuck with us for anything, I’ll not comply. They’ll have to arrest me or board up my place. Until California wants to offer to pay my building rent and other obligations, they don’t have the right to take away my ability to pay those things.
Best of luck to you, Sheiky baby.

I hope you don't get forced to close.

To fund their corrupt transit authority.

Horrifying.

Glad I don't live there.
Obviously, I work in transportation, and have some insight into the industry. I am here to tell you that the NYC TMA (transportation management association) is the most corrupt in the nation. They lobby for shit that has nothing at all to do with transportation. You can liken them to the Irish mob in Chicago in the 30s. They run that city from the top down. They are a bunch of fucking crooks. The epitome of why unions are bad.

So, my son is going to Colorado this weekend. In the planning process he found out that they are stopping people in New Mexico with Texas plates that aren't wearing a mask IN THE FUCKING VEHICLE and giving them tickets. That bitch governor has lost her god damn mind.

No offense but I'm skeptical as hell. Where did he hear this? Any sources or links you can provide?

My buddy lives in New Mexico & owns several banks across the state. His wife has kids living in Texas coming and going all the time (all of them have gotten covid too and recovered btw) and he just texted me saying he hasn't heard anything like this and doesnt think this is accurate.

While restrictive, I'm not sure they've gone that far

you can see the full public health order document here, I don't see anything about requiring masks while driving, it appears to be focused on public spaces and where mass gatherings could occur.

According to Current Public Health Order & Executive Order on Out-of-State Travel there is no requirement to wear a mask. Here's an excerpt fro the above link:

What if travelers are simply passing through New Mexico to get to another destination in a different state?
This is not a time to shop for souvenirs, visit state parks or sightsee. Please recognize that if you are traveling amid a global pandemic you are bringing the risk of a highly contagious and lethal virus with you and taking it with you as you go. You must wear a face-covering if you are in public while in the state. Please limit your activities to only the essentials.

While there may be plenty to take issue with New Mexicos stance, I have not been able to to substantiate the mask in cars mandate for Texas drivers via Google or my friends who live in New Mexico.

I took his word for it, but after looking into it further, I think it was bullshit. I can't find anything that says they are stopping people. I'ma beat his ass for not researching further.
