That or a hype article to raise money. It finishes requesting donations. If there were a promising breakthrough I would think a University could acquire a grant or other benefactor outlets to raise money.

Very interesting test results at the virus PC today. They had charts of how long it lasts on a surface at different temps, humidities, etc. Basically, sunlight kills it in a minute. (Makes sense, UV light degrades pretty much everything.) Also, alcohol as in hand sanitizer kills it in 30 seconds even with no rubbing.
(Edit, half life is two minutes in sunlight.)

This is the kind of info I wish they had more often instead of the political bickering.

If the results are true? This guy is the director of science and tech for Homeland Security and they did their own tests. Very direct, earnest, non-political type of person. He said they have a unique ability to do some of these tests, like aerosolizing the virus. I tried to take a screen grab:

This thing is just so new it's hard to believe anything since there are so many conflicting studies that have some out.

Definitely... But it's pretty interesting, these tests have been going on since February when they first got a sample of the virus, and with the actual Covid-19 virus, not other viruses and extrapolating/guessing.

Anything is possible, but I trust this guy. He's pretty impressive. Talks like a machine gun, though, like a military man.

Elizabeth Warrens 86 yo brother died from coronavirus on Tuesday I guess.

I hope she was able to be near him and embrace him in his finals days.

He did say he was asking the doctors and anyone else if there was any way to treat people with UV light or disinfectants. He didn't tell anyone to inject or ingest anything, but it still sounded pretty stupid. Not a good day for him. Seemed to me like he hadn't slept or something.

Of course the media will still exaggerate it like when they claimed he said everyone should hoard hydroxy, or it was a miracle cure, or take fish tank cleaner. But he did give them a lot of ammo this time.
