He's a North-South runner on what's proving to be an East-West team.At least Randle didn't average 1.1 YPC. Can you imagine what we would be saying if he performed like Murray did tonight?

Further proof that Chip Kelly is a doofus. He's a North-South runner on what's proving to be an East-West team.
The Eagles blocking sucked. I'm not a Murray apologist but RBs can only so what the blocking allows. He's a North-South runner on what's proving to be an East-West team.
We would never accuse you of being a Murray apologist. Now Randle OTOH......The Eagles blocking sucked. I'm not a Murray apologist but RBs can only so what the blocking allows.
I don't need to apologize for a RB who is on pace for over 1000 yards this season on the ground...We would never accuse you of being a Murray apologist. Now Randle OTOH......
1000 yards is not the benchmark it once was and Hambrick almost had that as well. That's beside the point anyways. You come to Randles defense faster than most is all I was joking about.I don't need to apologize for a RB who is on pace for over 1000 yards this season on the ground...
Yeah, wasn't really trying to start a Randle discussion. Just joking a little bit back.1000 yards is not the benchmark it once was and Hambrick almost had that as well. That's beside the point anyways. You come to Randles defense faster than most is all I was joking about.
Can't say I disagree. He doesn't have a feel for the blocking like Murray did. They were kind of down on Randle on the Lunch Break. They said he wasn't following his blocks correctly. I agree,he just doesn't seem like an instinctive runner .
Which is funny because being east-west was one of Kelly's rationalizations for getting rid of McCoy.He's a North-South runner on what's proving to be an East-West team.
To hell with those empty 1000 yards.I don't need to apologize for a RB who is on pace for over 1000 yards this season on the ground...
But isn't the OL what most felt was all that was necessary for the running game this season? To hell with those empty 1000 yards.
If what we saw on Sunday is going to be the norm for the rest of the season, then our running game is going to be in trouble. He made no plays as a runner.
Every yard he got was whatever the line created for him. No broken tackles, no cutbacks, just run into the space that the line created then go down at first contact.
Funny what happens when you go from spot duty to starter.
He did break some tackles especially on that 15 yard run, he did miss some holes but for the most part he got what was available. To hell with those empty 1000 yards.

Well no, because now suddenly 4 ypc isn't acceptable. Now we must have more. I have a feeling the bar will get moved no matter what these RBs do. (Well unless someone is a probowler)But isn't the OL what most felt was all that was necessary for the running game this season?
I think Randle will be okay but the OL didn't run block as well as they did last season. Maybe Collins will rectify this to the extent that the second level will be handled better. Jiggy was correct about that observation.Well no, because now suddenly 4 ypc isn't acceptable. Now we must have more. I have a feeling the bar will get moved no matter what these RBs do. Hell I remember everyone bitching about Murray last year too. Thank god Randle didn't have his type of game.

I realize you don't care for him but one game as the starter isn't sufficient to pronounce judgement in my opinion.Randle sucks.
Remember how you used to tell us how Dez was going to be a failure after we drafted him?Randle sucks.
Never said he would be a failure. I never denied he had talent. I didn't trust his intellect and reliability. If I was wrong on anything, I was wrong on his character.Remember how you used to tell us how Dez was going to be a failure after we drafted him?
Good times.
