It's because Hurts made a fluke Super Bowl, which had more to do with the organization/roster around him, not to mention the fact that he was on a rookie contract, than the player himself.
I have never said or hinted Hurts was elite. My only position on him was that I thought he was good enough to play in the NFL. Now by the obvious my statement has proven correct. He is playing in the NFL but by no means have I ever said he was elite.
,Doesnt matter. He is a starting QB and to date still has a contract. That alone verifies my statement about Him. There may come a time where he is removed from that position but until then well he is still apparently deemed a QB with an NFL paycheck.

What I revere is my judgement about him being good enough to play in the NFL. Saying he sucks doesn't negate the obvious. By simple observation anyone can see he is playing in the NFL. Any other reference to one’s personal judgement of whether he is good or bad has no relevance as to what I said so if you choose to have a personal judgement about him that’s okay. It doesn’t change my assessment of what said of him .Boy you revere him more than I thought.
