Hey dumbass, we already have federal laws preventing that. Garbage tweets like this are just for gaslighting and don't accomplish anything.

They have a bad habit of pretending laws don't exist.

That's very true, but both parties are guilty of that. It merely depends on the issue, as neither party believes in liberty.

Why add a law to a law that's already in place?
I mean I'm assuming there is more to the bill than just saying specifically what another bill already says. My understanding of a quick glance it is that non citizens are finding their way on voter registration lists. And this is aimed and clarifying and preventing it.

But from a basic public perception, why the hell would a President not just sign it and say see, I don't want illegals voting either. It just gives a bad impression that intentionally or unintentionally gives confirmation to the people claiming that the Democrats want illegals to try and vote.

I agree that the optics are terrible, but I’m not a proponent of creating more laws which pile onto existing laws. As a general rule, I don’t want the federal government making more laws. I want enforcement of the existing laws or their respective elimination.

I know what you mean, and politicians play games with this shit all the time. They will create a bill that says, help the veterans. And then they will slip some bullshit in there that they know the other side is going to say absolutely not to. And then when they vote no the headline is "Republican's don't want to help veterans" meanwhile it's because they wanted to slip in a transgender studies provision or something.

That's kind of why I was wondering if there was something in there specific that Biden is against. Or I should say Biden's puppet master is against. Otherwise sign it and slam dunk that shit on the Republicans faces.

I have said this for years. They name bills to purposely shame those that vote no. Kinda like the border bill that had all kinds of fluff in it. Then they can say "The Republicans aren't serious about the border".

I didn't look into it much, but I think this bill would make you provide some proof that you were a citizen before you voted, not just be eligible for prosecution afterwards... which of course is never enforced among those who want illegals voting.

Voter ID, man. That is absolutely the answer.

I really have no idea why voters shouldn't have to ID. It's such a ridiculous premise. You have to show ID for literally everything. But when it comes to voting, nope that's suppression!!!!!! Just have faith in the system.

You know why they don't want it, right?

I mean, that's rhetorical. I know you know why.
