Yes, I'm cynical, but it's a well-earned cynicism.

He wouldn't win and he knows it, so him running would only mean he's pulling votes from anyone not named Trump since no one is going to pull away MAGA voters in the primaries. The more the party is split the better it is for Trump.

I actually meant that a lot of these people run for president just to keep the money they raise. If he could raise enough, I bet he'd run. I don't doubt he hates Trump, but I doubt it has much to do with who eventually wins.
