I guess.

I look at it a bit different.

These are the same guys that in 2016 railed against the people of this country and became never Trumpers. Voters decided, not their fucking country club ivory tower donors.

They have made it clear that they don’t respect the process or the people’s will. They know better than the people who actually make this country work.

I won’t have anything to do with anything either of these two think is a good idea. Especially not a candidate for President.

I actually respect anyone who stood against Trump in 2016. That at least shows principles and conviction. One of the reasons I left the party is because I couldn't stand how so many republicans fell in line behind Trump.

That’s fair. I won’t say you’re wrong, I just see it different.

I hate the political class, Romney, Ryan, Jeb, Chris Christie, Carl Rove, people like that. That’s who hates Trump the most. I don’t think any Republican can win without Trump’s faithful base, not without his blessing.

We saw what the establishment candidates can do when McCain and Romney were the nominee. The establishment republicans think they can win by being morally superior to a party that has no morals.

There is no political party that has morals. So saying this about any one of them is pretty hollow.
I don’t know, I think a party who rails against the murder of unborn children qualifies as moral vs. a party who celebrates abortion like it’s an achievement.

We could add the resistance against sterilization of underaged children.

McCain and Romney are terrible examples of republicans though.

I agree. But they are who the establishment wanted to challenge Obama with. I respect McCain’s service, something I disagree with Trump about. I could See his faults without trying to impugn his service record. He wasn’t put in place to beat Obama, he was put in place to lose gracefully. Same with Romney. He let Obama walk all over him in the 2nd and 3rd debates. Then he had that retard hack Ryan as his sidekick who had nothing to say in his debate with Biden.

I don’t want to lose in 2024. I can pretty much guarantee that if it comes down to Trump vs. DeSantis, it’s going to be ugly and someone like Newsom(assuming Biden throws in the towel) probably wins because Trump was defeated in the primary and DeSantis is weakend from barely surviving it with no endorsement from Trump.

I firmly believe there is at least 20% of Trump’s base that won’t vote if he’s not on the ticket. Call it sour grapes, but it’s probably the case.

I’m not going to vote in primary. I’m hoping to be forced to vote for Trump, or someone emerges besides DeSantis. If the 2024 election was today and DeSantis is the nominee, I’ll sit it out.

DeSantis is the furthest thing from a RINO, just look at everything he has already got accomplished and he isn't stopping. He's now taking on the teachers union there by making them lose their pension teaching license if they teach any form of DEI.

You hate Desantis that much? I'm surprised a conservative would feel that way.

I get it though. I think I voted for Daryl Castle in 2016 even though I knew it helped Hillary. You have to vote your conscience.

When I look at DeSantis is see a cheap knock off of Trump. Right down to his mannerism’s.

He pretty much owes his political success to Trump. He only beat Gillum by 0.4% or something like that.

Of course I’d rather you be right than me. I said the same thing to Booze, I don’t trust RD. Hopefully I’m wrong.

Sure. With that part I'd agree. But as a whole? When considering the individuals within that party? Not so sure, now.

Politicians are scumbags.

Wait, what? They helped small businesses during the pandemic?

Did I miss something?
You didn't miss them all lying to us the entire time. They haven't decided to stop yet.
