Who are the right people? That’s the trick for everyone in leadership roles. There is the crony system, the buddy system, the political system, the network system an lord only know how many more. Then there is the governing system to the management of the staffing. There are styles and approaches both established and experimental. Who can say what is being accomplished even when there is heavy turnover. It could be that in a mega system of staffing some may be content to fill spots and just let them do their thing because they don’t like to find replacements or it could be that the Chief Executive isn’t content with average and keeps replacing until the feel it is right. Who knows what all the variables are. In a job like the Presidency and with a management philosophy that Trump has it may not bode well with a lot of governmental established rules.

in the instant case of Bolton, he has been entrenched in government systems for some time. It’s possible he thinks his approach is correct and he should be able to do things his way but Trump isn’t attune to that approach. He is accustom to calling the shots and expects his appointees to fall in line with his style.

How would you go about setting the tone for your tenure if given a position of top management. I have been around many and it is sometimes a circus but in the final analysis the leader chooses how things will be. Generally history judges Presidents and profits judge Corporate leaders.
