Trump nominated Sessions and he filled the office of Attorney General. There were no further appointments to this office until Sessions resigned not too long ago. The next appointment was Barr.

Rosenstiens is a career employee of the DOJ and the OPM regulations allows ranking employees to fill a role until an appointment is made. Rosenstien was moved into the Acting Atty General buy virtue of policy and regulation. It is incorrect to say Trump appointed him or he is part of the Administration.

The counter-intelligence investigation was started far before the 2016 election was ever decided.

Comey was investigating “Russian Collusion” before Trump was elected. The special counsel started on Trumps watch because he fired Comey. Something that probably never would have happened if Trump trusted he and his campaign would get a fair shake. Turns out he was right to fire Comey. The bias in the FBI should be alarming to everyone.

Trump’s DOJ didn’t all of the sudden start this investigation. They put a SC in place to finish what Comey was too incompetent to finish. Think about it for a moment. Look at the shit storm Comey created for Clinton. There were no charges against her, but instead of leaving it at that, he let it be known she was guilty, but above the law.

I don’t think I’d want a guy like that running an investigation about myself or campaign either.
