They demanded a special proscuetor to look into Comeys activities in issuing another report on Clinton after his gave her a clean bill of health. The rest of the process developed ofter Comey was fired but he triggered the Special Proscuetor as an anti Trump investigation. Rosenstien just happened to be in place because Sessions recused himself from any involvement.

I think it's really just one big coincidence that Trump's campaign manager, deputy campaign manager, longtime personal lawyer/consigliere/fixer, and first national security advisor have all pleaded guilty to crimes.

Just one big, unfortunate coincidence for what any rational person would agree is one of the finest, most upstanding, most intelligent, grounded in reality Presidents this country has ever had.
