All that is a big whuptedo but it has already been determined that the meeting turned out to be with a Russian lawyer who was interested in how the foreign adoptions laws worked in the United States. It seems as though she has a personal interest in the system. So even if Trump knew about the meeting so what?

The bigger question is, if someone says "I have dirt on your political opponent, come meet with me and I'll tell you (and presumably want something in return)," is that breaking a law?

The media's main job, it seems, is to dig up dirt on (Republican) political candidates. Are they all guilty of treason?

What is bothersome to me is how quickly this kind of information about negative connotations on Trump finds it’s way to the media that was in the hands of the Special prosecutor or DOJ.

Conversely the Congressional oversight Committee can’t get documents from these same people without most of it being redacted beyond recognition when they finally get it. This tells me that the Justice Department top officials are also involved in manupliting and controlling the information that reaches the media.
