I’m curious, how many Trump supporters do you know outside of this forum?

It’s quite a charge to say Trump supporters think the guy can do no wrong. I don’t think I’ve seen anyone here unable to call the guy out on his bullshit.

I’m almost to the point where I don’t give a shit if he wins or not. I’m tired of the childish stuff. What keeps me going is when I see liberals do shit like post a picture of their 5 year old holding a sign that says “white privilege”, I’m afraid of the liberal agenda gaining more speed.

Trump winning or losing has more to do with what would happen otherwise than it does to do with the man himself.

But to my original question, I see/hear that said quite a lot, and it’s just not true of anyone I know, or know of. Outside of LT Fan.

My girlfriends mom is a true (Trump) believer, she sends out the craziest shit via email that is conspiratorial, illogical, etc but we all just ignore it since she's approaching 80 and obviously isn't going to change.

Sadly, I think for some folks who embrace extremes, there's some kind of psychological comfort that assuages some deeper issue and I think this is true for whichever extreme one clings.

Do you think Trump is an extreme political person or is he maybe a very different person than the run of the mill politician? It’s my view that he cares less about politics and how the system works and takes the position that the office of the Chief Executive of the US should run the office like a business CEO.

This is one of the reasons why he is attacked by “The loyal opposition” and others that think he isn’t acting like a conventional politician. He isn’t a politician and will never be because he has been an independent Chief Executive a good part of his life and patterns his style in the manner he thinks will get the job done. Never think that he is stupid or doesn’t have a clue about what he is doing because he didn’t amass his wealth by being stupid.

Does he bore you to tears bloviating about himself, yes he does but ask yourself is he doing his utmost to keep his campaign promises in the face of of a shadow group who will do anything to try to get him out of office. The answer is yes he is trying his best to keep his promises. When is the last time an elected official tried to do this rather than just join the swamp and the daily objective was to do nothing about those he represents but does everything to keep his office.

Trump isn’t extreme he is just a different breed than the career politician who goes to Washington with goals and finds out he is just another soldier for the cause of what the party requires to stay a politician.

It's really just one huge coincidence, nay a liberal conspiracy, that lifelong Republicans like McCain and Romney publicly condemn Trump, and in Romney's case voted to remove him from office. It can't be that he's an embarrassment to the country and perhaps even an existential threat, as noted liberal Mattis implies.

On top of that, for as odious as Trump, in fact, is for the majority of Democrats and even Republicans, he was elected because people were tired of the BULLSHIT being pushed by the other side. Instead of waking the fuck up, the left and the media are doubling down more than ever before.

Maybe Trump does not get re-elected because now that everyone has seen who he is, they might be tired of that, but all that is happening is the stage is being set for an even worse Donald Trump. On either or both sides.

There is, in fact, an overt left-leaning bias in the media to the point where bias does not even describe it anymore. It is full fledged unhinged dishonesty and propaganda. There is zero denying it. One needs simply look around this thread. It is eminently worse on the left than it is at Fox or whatever other blogospheres you want to point to on the right.
