At the time the thoughts were that Robert Kennedy who was the Atty General at the time convinced the commission to do this because there was possibly some embarrassing stuff on John Kennedy that was obtained during the investigation.

I don’t read his tweets. I am aware however that the papers require a review to ensure that nothing regarding national security interests are released or breached. It is a Presidential authority determination.
This was a mandate. These were supposed to be released. Trump has said on Twitter and on Fox that he is releasing them. This is a misrepresentation of the truth. No matter whom is president now, these papers would be released. Your Trump apologies grow tiresome. Your semantic arguments also grow tiresome.

I get your dislike for Trump. Still the rules state the President is to review the papers before they are released. That is what I have stated and no matter about the Tweets and their depictions the papers are not to be released until the review is done. It’s black and white. And no the papers won’t be released because of the perceived notion the they are to be released regardless.
Anything that would fall under the general category of possibly being a breach of national secutity will be with held. That is the way it is structured. Read the link I posted.
