I would have chosen Joe Walsh if he had run in 2024. I kind of got sucked in by Doug Bergum for a while there but he turned out to be a Trump turd too. I couldn't bring myself to vote for President in 2020 or 2024.

John Kasich was my choice in 2016.

That you think Trump best represents the Republican party is fucking chilling.
The votes and the polls show that only a small percentage of people liked what the R party had become. That anyone could prefer the party of pathetic controlled opposition losers like Mitt Romney and Liz Cheney is what's really chilling. Talk about not caring about the little guy.

You think Trump gives a shit about the little guy any more than Biden does?

Trump laughs at those foolish enough to fall for his schtick and vote for him.

Does he personally care about me or you? No, but why does that matter? His policies are better. I wanted the border closed, to stop the funding of so much woke garbage, to at least slow down the climate madness, to stop kowtowing to big pharma, and to hopefully make our food a little safer, among other things. He's doing that. Why do I care if he cares about me as an individual?

And do I think he wants what's best for this country as opposed to favoring Globalist cronies? Yes I do, far more than the other party.

What am I doing @Cotton

Not much. They are both senile and did ridiculous amounts of stupid shit.

Both did whatever they could to get you to believe that they were for the common man, and those of us who thought both of them were full of shit were right.
Yet one of them helped the country tremendously by cutting taxes, cutting regulation, closing the border and helping stem the tide of illegal immigration, appointing great Supreme Court Justices, getting some half decent trade deals, fighting back culturally against racist policies of the left, etc.

And the other was way more senile.

Because you are the one who brought up not caring about the little guy.

I agree that the porous border had to be dealt with, but he's not doing anything but talking about big pharma and food... wtf did he do besides "made Coke go back to cane sugar".

Here we go again with the "if it's not done in 6 months then he must not care about it," shlock.

For one thing, he appointed a rep who gives a fuck about it. Since Trump actually ISN'T an authoritarian, he and RFK can't just make the food and drug corps do whatever the administration wants by executive fiat.

Again, no one with an ounce of honesty would compare that to the last administration. Or the one before that (Obama).

Trump is not freaking Thanos. He can't just snap his fingers and make everything happen at once.

And if you believe that he's done what he said he's done, that's on you.
That’s the difference between you and me, Irv. I’ve never said I believe things that have been said. By anybody. I believe what I KNOW has been done. Things that can’t be denied. You are the one that runs with whatever you see in print or hear on whatever stuff you choose to watch that fits your narrative and run with it like it’s the gospel. Then try to claim some kind of moral superiority. And then get all indignant when people laugh at you for it. Oh well.

The other problem is, the media absolutely unfairly and deceptively paints what he says as "lies."

He talks off the cuff. It's just his style.

Much of it is bravado or ignorance/idiocy.

Certainly those are faults (not that Biden also wasn't a retard in addition to his cognitive decline), but I actually think Trump is one of the more truthful Presidents of our lives, in terms of what he INTENDS to tell the truth on versus what he INTENDS to lie about.

And that isn't to say he doesn't lie. He does.

But way less than Obama, Biden, Clinton, and even Bush.
