I can only speak for me, but the fact that a good portion of the Republican Party has followed Trump off the rails to the point where it’s not even recognizable from the one I grew up in is my reason for moving toward being non-affiliated. It’s typical for him though, he has virtually destroyed everything he has ever touched.
