Let’s see if the Mavs can do this in the Garden.

Not looking good. Missing 3’s, turning the ball over and Celtics draining 3’s.

So now that it's over... Why is it that in that horrible year of 2020 coaches went from wearing suits like they have forever to those spare-ass generic-looking sweatsuits? And they all stayed that way?

Boring season, playoffs and finals.

This is a transitional period where legends are aging out (LeBron, Curry) while the next group of potential legendary players are young and still sorting themselves out (Doncic, Edwards, Wemby, others TBD), so it makes sense that a team like the Celtics would win with a very lackluster best player.

The guys in the middle like Giannis and Jokic could be in that group as well, but Giannis needs to stay healthy and Jokic never struck me as someone who had the drive to go back to back. Wouldn't surprise me at all if Denver barnstorms through the playoffs next year.

I never understood why all the sports don't encourage managers and HCs to wear suits. They stopped it in football because they are trying to sell apparel but I doubt anyone is buying merchandise because Bill Belichick rocked it.

They haven't done it in baseball in like 70 years I think but I'd rather see that than Charlie Manuel's wrinkly ass in a uniform.

Maybe it's my love for Landry but I just think it looks better.

Now that the Sixers are done with that albatross Tobias Harris and have cap space for once, we'll see if they can finally put a championship roster around the best player in basketball.

I think the Bucks blew it with the Lillard trade and doubled down by hiring one of the worst coaches in basketball. I can't see them getting there again.

I thought I saw Denver is having cap problems so they may have peaked also.

If Luka is mature and uses this loss as motivation to get better (defensive effort, better conditioning) and the Mavs get one more difference-maker, I think they've got a great shot to get back there and win the whole thing.
