Wonder if they would have had more than 7 available if they wouldn't have given their best player away?

I don't know the extent of some of the injuries but I would think that there might be 1 or 2 with nagging injuries that would play through them if they thought the team gave a fuck.

Can you imagine how big Clark would be if she were hot?

We had a bunch of back and forth last year after the Bulls traded Caruso to OKC for GIddey, and now that the regular season is over it seems like it's a rare win-win-win-win for everybody involved.

Giddey looks to be ascending into a potential All Star talent now that he's gotten his 3P% up to about 38% on decent volume. Caruso's advanced defensive metrics are some of the best in the league and I'm sure he'll play a key role deep in a playoff series against someone like Curry, Edwards or Doncic.

On top of that, both Giddey and Caruso got paid and are playing their preferred roles with Giddey being the offensive hub on a potentially ascending team and Caruso being the defensive stopper on a possible title team.

Pretty rare to see but everyone involved is probably thrilled.

What is this? I have no idea.
Mavs put out these t-shirts for Luka's return saying something like, "Thank you so much" in Slovenian.

We've talked about the overwrought return videos for players, but this is even beyond that.

Joker 3rd player in history to average a triple double for a season. Too bad he's already won too many MVPs to win it this year.

So more comes out that the firing of some S&T staffer with the Mavs contributed to the breakup between the GM Harrison and Doncic.

Basically it's clear that the GM is a retard of the highest order with a huge ego to match and actually thought that he should have more power than his megastar.

I mean, I'm all for moving the power back to the franchises, but, it has to be done with institutional changes league-wide. You can't get in a pissing contest with a 26 year old generational talent and then ship him out to try to prove to someone you have big balls. You just sank your entire franchise.

How that moron was allowed to pull off that trade is beyond me. If I was the owner, if for some reason I wasn't informed (which, of course I would require information before such a franchise-altering move), I would have terminated the idiot without even waiting for his explanation and then rescinded my franchise's consent to the deal.

It's one thing to ship off a generational talent who is 26 and loved by fans. But then to get shitty compensation in return? There is no part of it that makes sense.

It's looking like OKC is going to make quick work of the Grizzles. Shai hasn't come close to playing an A or B game, yet the Thunder are still cruising to blowout wins.

The only potential negative is they'll probably end up having to sit around for a week getting rusty while the Nuggets and Clippers grind it out.

From my understanding, Nico conferred with the owners before making the trade.

That tells me Nico's not the only idiot involved in this transaction. He's just the one out front taking the slings and arrows.
