Second round picks are almost throw aways in the NBA. It's such a contrast to the NFL. It's the roster spot they are going to use up on Lebron James kid, who is just going to sit at the end of the bench and enjoy the success of his dad. Kind of crazy what a team will do to appease their star players.

In a sense they are throwaways but it's possible to find some gems in the second that make it worth taking seriously.

The Lakers using their 2nd on Bronny James was the textbook definition of "throwaway pick". All they'll get out of that is appeasing their idiot, a feel good story, and the hope of selling some jerseys.

No I think the guy nodak was talking about was Dalton Knecht, who went 17th to the Lakers.

The best shooter in the draft is the Tiktok dancer with fabulous nails that the Sixers took at 16.
