There isn't that much difference between the elite 2 and the guys who will go in the 2nd/3rd round after. Especially with Gurley's injury problems.So pass on the most elite propect in a deep group just cause you hope to get someone good later? Feh. If the opportunity for Gurley (if healthy) or Gordon presents itself and they are the best player, take it. DL is deep this year too. Should we pass on who we can get at 27 because of the same theory?
Look at last year's WR class. Was it smart for Buffalo to trade up with guys like Beckham sitting there in the first round?
I'm certainly not against Gordon. I actually really like him and would have no problem with him in the first now. Just means we aren't taking advantage of the depth in this draft.
