Listening to Mike & Mike this morning, they were talking about the bat flip. Joe Carter and some others called in, both pitchers and position players. They pretty much all agreed that there was nothing wrong with it. It's not like he stared in to the Rangers dugout, stared down the pitcher, or was showboating while rounding the bases. Also said things like that are more accepted during the playoffs. Bigger stage, more at stake, higher emotions, etc... Rob Dibble said he didn't see anything wrong with it, and he thought the pitcher was the one who was in the wrong for the benches clearing, trying to make something out of nothing. Nothing was done to show him up, and he was only upset because he was beaten in a big spot.
