Great pitching makes a big difference, and the offense is cruising again.
Obviously Scherzer and Montgomery were great additions, but trading for Chapman, then Stratton (included in the Montgomery deal) has really improved the pen. They've got at least five trustworthy relievers with Smith, Chapman, Burke, Sborz and Stratton, plus Perez moving to the pen as a long man should help, too.
