I still would not have traded him in the division.
But "amongst other things" was part of the package.

I don't know. I'd have probably pulled the trigger on an in-division trade if the price was right. I'd take that gamble of it not coming back to bite me in the ass.

Exactly. And if Clark is worth a third, the only way it's better is the fifth? No way is that worth trading him to those turds. Especially because he'd rather have gone there.

The Packers deal feels better to me than that. Just going on gut but I think the picks could be higher and I like Clark more than a third/4th round pick.
Yeah, another Gallimore or whatever on a rookie deal is not nearly what Clark will be for the next few years.

Jones is not afraid to say he traded away a "rare" talent, but he reiterated that the return was one he could not turn down.

"Those four or five players, including the player we got, have a much better chance of helping us win a championship than one player," Jones said.

This kinda retardism is......I don't even know anymore.

Parsons is a special talent. It's unfortunate we never surrounded him the way the Packers look like they have on their defense.

Fuck the Packers. No top team is afraid of them. You know why? Because at some point, in an important game, Jordan Love is gonna get that catatonic stare he’s famous for, and will proceed to make 2 or 3 bozo throws in a row to the wrong team.

I dunno, they've beat 2 of last year's top NFC teams pretty handidly.

They won't be considered two of the top teams in the NFC this year when it's all said and done.

Maybe the Lions can regain their mojo, but losing both coordinators and one of your top 5ish players out of nowhere is a lot to overcome early on.

The Packers look really good right now so I won't take that from them. But it's a long season. 17 games. And it's not really about where you start, its where you finish. So we will see how they are still looking at mid-season and towards the end of the year. No doubt they are a good team.
