Not by fans on local radio. Most are not upset at about it. Side with Jerry. Just from what I'm seeing online.
So they must like getting fucked up the ass in trades as well.

How amazing would it be if the Cowboys get in position to draft Manning only to have the family pull an Eli on them?
And the Manning clan did it by saying, "El Paso"

It really does remind me of when the 49ers traded Haley to us because they were sick of his shit and I believe didn't want to pay him.
I sure hope this doesn't lead to Green Bay winning 3 of the next 4 Super Bowls.

I just remembered we have James Houston. No worries now.

Couple things, listened to the Ticket recap of their reactions and George Dunham, who does have people in the building who talk to him, thought there were reservations about MP going back a while now and this trade didn't just happen in a few days like people believe. Said his lack of professionalism was a concern and that's not new.

As for reports that the two sides never communicated their offers, said he thinks they were, even if indirectly. (And I do too.)

Someone, don't remember who, thought that Jerry and Co, despite their claims, knew that this team wasn't a contender and the team was sort of at a dead end, and this is a way to try to restart and rebuild. I think there might be something to that. Jerry himself may be an overoptimistic football moron, but not everyone in that building (like McClay) is.
If the team is at a dead end, why the fuck did they sign Prescott to a massive deal?

The rebuild should have started and ended with him.

Ok, so I'm going to look at the positives or at least fake it.

Clark is good and was banged up with a foot injury last year, toe.

Micah was kind of a distraction. Podcasts and shit. I'm sure the whole locker room wasn't fond of him.

4 playoff games, 1 sack.

We complain about the run defense and the DT's. When we got ran over a lot of runs right at Micah and around him.

I don't know. I'm trying.

I think I'd be fine with it if we got a another 2nd and 3rd or something.
There's no positive.

Micah is a generational pass rusher.

That's the most important thing you can have besides franchise QB.

We got into a pissing match and ditched him cause we were pissed just like Amari Cooper. This franchise is a clown show.

Saying this team is 4 years behind trying to fix everything.
Who gives a shit about "trying to fix everything."

They need to fix the fact that they don't know how to manage their salary structure anymore in a modern league. They are not 4 years behind, they are 20 years behind on how to pay people.

It will be a big disappointment for me if they just sit and pick with all four of their 1's in 2026 and 2027, with none being legit QB prospects, or if they do some weird developmental shit by taking another QB in the 4th and ignoring the many guys who will be available in the first.
You fucking know that is what they are gonna do.

Yep, they are clueless. That's all there is to it. All these years running this franchise and they haven't figured a fucking thing out.

The fact that Jerry would only deal with teams who had a spare DT lying around is ridiculously myopic. Why tie your hands like that? By the time this team contends again, Clark will be long gone.
I really hope they didn't take a worse deal just to get something for this year. I'd have taken a little less to send him to a middling AFC team.

But again, I suspect there were a very limited number of teams willing to pay him 47 mil per year anyway.

Timing. Cowboys didn’t just lose Micah Parsons, they also traded away the 2025 season. Season outlook already bleak, but 2025 now even less hope. This trade would be more acceptable if 2025 Cowboys already out of playoff contention before the trade deadline. Additionally, would’ve given Cowboys more time to drive more in return.

Personal issues aside, only GM’ng way this makes sense is the Jones are much more confident in replacing Micah Parsons than they are drafting a quality DT. Failed with Taco, failed with Mazi, failed with Trysten Hill. Conversely, they drafted Demarcus Ware, Lawrence, Micah and must be high on Kneeland.
