I mean Clark has put up some sack numbers. Just not last year. The whole thing that confuses me is why was a run stopper the key to the deal? I thought run stoppers were unimportant based on our history.

Yea I was wondering about that, pretty interesting overall given they could've drafted a guy like Harmon or even Nolen in the 1st instead of Booker.
Instead of pulling the plug we will just bury him as like the 6th DT on the roster. Who the hell needs 6 DTs?If they realize all of a sudden their run D is fucking garbage, why not pull the plug on Mazi? He is fucking week old fucking trash.
I wonder how many other teams in the league have two first round OGs?Yea I was wondering about that, pretty interesting overall given they could've drafted a guy like Harmon or even Nolen in the 1st instead of Booker.
I highly doubt that if we had done that they'd have insisted on adding an OG in a Parsons trade.
Maybe Eberflus really got in their ears after seeing it upfront and personal in TC.
Waive him. Put him on the PS. No one is claiming that useless fuck.Instead of pulling the plug we will just bury him as like the 6th DT on the roster. Who the hell needs 6 DTs?
Probably 0 but I think it could come in handy if we hopefully go hard after a rookie QB in the next 2-3 years.I wonder how many other teams in the league have two first round OGs?
Almost posted that... it sounds crazy, but what if they think so much of Eberflus that when he told them, "Bro, this isn't going to work" they actually listened?Maybe Eberflus really got in their ears after seeing it upfront and personal in TC.
That is nice but pretty fucking damning if so.Yea I was wondering about that, pretty interesting overall given they could've drafted a guy like Harmon or even Nolen in the 1st instead of Booker.

Might've been like when Jerry begged Parcells to give Quincy and Hutch a chance. It is a complete farce. Anyone could have seen Mazi Smith as a POS off of tape, much less having to see his stupid ass live.
Yea, who knows, ultimately to me this trade isn't about right now. I wanted a youngish player to help balance the run defense but at the end of the day trading Parsons was about giving ourselves max flexibility to plan for life after Dak.That is nice but pretty fucking damning if so.

It was gonna be a small number of teams who could fork over two 1's and pay him what he wanted.
It just further cements the stupidity of the FO. For years they’ve ignored the DT position, or tried to cover the position with undersized or JAG players. The whole thing that confuses me is why was a run stopper the key to the deal? I thought run stoppers were unimportant based on our history.
I didn't think I could be more down about the team going into the season as I was last year. And Jerry somehow proves me wrong again. You know the dumbass thinks he just pulled off the Herschel Walker trade again in his own mind.Between the Netflix series and this, there’s zero hope for the Cowboys. I’m hoping there’s a ton of empty seats this season.
Fucking Schott doesn't have a chance.
This team is already probably ready to pack it in, because if the players didn't know this team wasn't serious about winning, they sure af know it now.
