6 years. I’d say that’s a helluva opportunity for a JAG wideout.same year as Elliot.

I'm sure he is poised to break out any year now. Everyone knows it take 7 years to develop a WR.6 years. I’d say that’s a helluva opportunity for a JAG wideout.
But that's the problem. He's nothing more than a #5 WR. That has been here 6 years. He's not going to move up. And that spot should be for a developmental type WR that has upside. That offers something dynamic. He does neither. He's had more than enough time to show out. Time to move on and use that roster spot on another guy. His spot on the depth chart is one that should be churned every couple of years trying to find something. We are just treading water with no chance of improvement with this guy at this point.Brown is better than a lot of folks on this site give him credit for and is perfectly fine as a #5 WR.
Exactly, he may be as good as another NFL teams 5th or sixth WR but most of those guys aren't 6th year vets. They are rookies with the expectation they can be more. Or they are just flat out better than Brown. But that's the problem. He's nothing more than a #5 WR. That has been here 6 years. He's not going to move up. Hell he qualifies for pension now.6 years. I’d say that’s a helluva opportunity for a JAG wideout.
