I look at it like they're basically stealing from the other 31 teams.

I could see a massive fine being issued and that money being divvyed up between the other teams to recoup their losses.

It would have to be pretty hefty to discourage that kind of behavior. An owner stealing from the other owners would go beyond just slap on the wrist stuff. But also there is a competitive advantage that it creates even with a salary cap that the league has to consider. Of course when you're talking about a bottom dwelling team they can't get much lower.

Snyder could probably cut a personal check for $1,500 and that would cover the 40% of 2021 WFT ticket sales.
