That is f'ing insane. It is actually 18.4 mil.

I agree they will have to run him off. He has no say but do you think that will happen in light of the developments that they are trying to deal their backup? So those thinking he would come to Dallas as a backup are very remote. It is not up to him if he will leave the Skins...it is the team option, something like 17 mil for him to come back. As for him reducing himself to be a back up...I just don't see many teams that are going to hand over the starting job to him. He will have to resurrect himself through being a back up, much like Vick did when he went to Philly.
Dealing Cousins really has no bearing on RG3 coming back. His 18.4 million dollar option does. McCoy seems like a given to come back, but I see them pretty much starting fresh at QB. He may not come to Dallas, which is fine by me, but unless Gruden is fired I think he is out the door.I agree they will have to run him off. That could happen but with the money Snyder has invested and the way it is structured I would think he would round them up and tell them to work it out. At least that is what I do. Both Gruden and Griffin have a big incentive to try to work with each other.Dealing Cousins really has no bearing on RG3 coming back. His 18.4 million dollar option does. Actually, he doesn't.I am no fan of Griffin but did you miss him leading a team to the playoffs and beating Dallas to get there?
Was he not a NFL QB at that point/
Let's not act like he has no skills to play in this league.
I guess, but I don't think any team will pay RG3 over 18 mil to play. Just throwing good money after bad and makes zero sense. That could happen but with the money Snyder has invested and the way it is structured I would think he would round them up and tell them to work it out. That's probably why he will stay where he is now.I guess, but I don't think any team will pay RG3 over 18 mil to play. Just throwing good money after bad and makes zero sense.
Again, it is a team option, not up to him. Thought that was clear. That's probably why he will stay where he is now.
We are saying the same thing. I don't think Snyder can afford to get rid of either of them and that's why Griffin will stay where he is.Again, it is a team option, not up to him. Thought that was clear.
Why would Snyder pay RG3 18.4 Million to come back and suck?We are saying the same thing. I don't think Snyder can afford to get rid of either of them and that's why Griffin will stay where he is.
We are not saying the same thing at all. There is no way, IMO, that the Redskins are going to pay him 18 mil to come back.We are saying the same thing. I don't think Snyder can afford to get rid of either of them and that's why Griffin will stay where he is.
Probably because he is screwed either way and he would like e to make it work. He shucked one coach already but he is so deep in the deal now with both player and coach it may be worth another year to see if the two of them can make I t work. It will cost him a ton either way.Why would Snyder pay RG3 18.4 Million to come back and suck?
GWe are not saying the same thing at all. There is no way, IMO, that the Redskins are going to pay him 18 mil to come back.
He'd be smart to look up the definition of "sunk cost". Like Carp said, paying RG3 is throwing good money after bad.Probably because he is screwed either way and he would like e to make it work. He shucked one coach already but he is so deep in the deal now with both player and coach it may be worth another year to see if the two of them can make I t work. It will cost him a ton either way.
We will both know in time but I have heard no rumor that Snyder is thinking this way.If he lets RGIII go it costs zero...if he brings him back it costs 18.4 million.
It could happen but to my knowledge Snyder hasn't show any indication he is thinking along those lines. He'd be smart to look up the definition of "sunk cost". Like Carp said, paying RG3 is throwing good money after bad.
Oh, I agree with you but it would be a beautiful move to behold. That's a terrible rumor. Cutler is getting benched this week and nobody, not even Snyder will trade for that apathetic coach killer.
Man, you damn sure wouldn't think so, but I have seen Snyder throw money at crap before. I just can't see him throwing this much at crap, though. We are not saying the same thing at all. There is no way, IMO, that the Redskins are going to pay him 18 mil to come back.
