I don't think they will have much to say about his play, it speaks for itself. They will pound him on the domestic violence, no doubt. I do think he is a bit of coward for skipping out on the Senior Bowl to dodge the questions though.
I didn't realize he was skipping the Senior Bowl. Might well take you medicine and get it over with now. The questions aren't going away.

Might as well let the mainstream media and all the folks who fake outrage via social media punch themselves out now rather than during the draft in April/May.

Don't be stupid about it like Oklahoma's handling of Mixon where every damn year they (the university) chose to open the can of worms the week prior to big bowl games. They could have let Mixon talk to the media or showed the video early in the season or during summer but for some idiotic reason in 2015 and 2016 they chose to address his issues leading up to the Orange & Sugar Bowls.

I'll be interested in see what the draft scouts have to say about Dede Westbrook.

He's too small to be a #1 WR but I think he has potential to be used as an all around weapon like Kansas City's Tyreke Hill.

Aside from lining up at wideout, he returned kickoffs and punts and ran reverses and jet-sweeps at Oklahoma.

I think he's more quick than fast which is an excellent trait for a return man.

The one drawback about Westbrook is has some off the field domestic violence issues in his past as well. Probably wouldn't be wise for the Cowboys to draft him but I think he'll be an interesting gadget player for some team.
He will probably be used like Shepard is with the Giants.

Kiper's Top 300

Kiper's Top 300

[h=1]Kiper's final 2017 Big Board: Top 300 NFL draft prospects[/h]

Mel Kiper Jr.Football analyst

It's draft week, and that means my final Big Board is here. It's much more than my top 25 prospects -- this one goes to 300. You also can check out my position rankings, which cover more than 750 prospects.
The prospects below should cover a high percentage of those drafted -- there are 253 total picks this year -- but it's important to remember that every team has a distinct ranking of its own, and you'll see a number of players drafted who don't make my top 300.

To that point, here's the usual reminder: This final Big Board is not a prediction of where players will be drafted, only where I have them ranked as prospects. So dig in here, and come back Thursday for my final Mock Draft of the season. Oh, and check out ESPN, ESPN2 and WatchESPN for our live coverage of the draft.

Using the general area of where Kiper rates them (4up/4down) I'd go:
1. DeMarcus Walker, DE, Florida State
2. Marcus Williams, S, Utah
3. Brendan Langley, CB, Lamar
4. Malachi Dupre, WR, LSU
6. Jarron Jones, DT, Notre Dame
7. Ben Boulware, ILB, Clemson
7. Elijah McGuire, RB, Louisiana-Lafayette

I would fucking lose my mind if we ended up with a draft like this. And I even like Marcus Williams a lot.

Kiper is a hack.
He has a couple of head scratchers but I bet he's just as accurate as anyone else when it's all said and done. There are always guys that rise or fall on draft day that your mainstream, "non-hack" pundits will be completely dead wrong about.

Whatever, Mel is still better than most of the prognosticators out there.... half of whom just copy off each other.

Don't have hurt feelings just cause your enemy liked the guy.

I think Mel is a better predictor than evaluator. What I mean by that is he knows what teams think of players pretty damn well. He will miss on a guy or two but for the most part he knows where guys are slotted by teams. But as a pure judge of talent I don't think he is great. This board is about his evaluation and not about where he thinks players will go. I think he has some quirks that make him continually make the same mistakes as an evaluator.

He is so accurate he even has a head start on the 2018 draft with the OT from Colorado in his top 300 for this year.

In the final analysis virtually everyone echos the sentiments of someone else in the draft predictions. There are few actual personal observations of everyone except in the tryouts and that isn't game conditions. Of actual games reviewed no one can physically be everywhere at once so if they see videos of 3 to 4 hundred games a year following draftable people they may see 500 prospects tops. That leaves highlights and how much can you rely on highlights for an objective view? What's left? Other people's reviews is what's left so that is where the pundits have to rely on to make their lists.
