It appears that New York Jets QB David Garrard (knee) is preparing to retire as he continues to have knee issues. "Having to call it quits. My knee is not holding up. Continuing to swell after practices. Limiting what I can do," Garrard said.

I'd be more than happy to be their 3rd string QB. I have just as little talent as the guys currently on the roster, but I'd come and hang out on the sidelines for the league minimum.
