So, the SJW bug has hit home. The MLB obviously has moved its All Star game out of GA. The transportation association I am in is trying to do the same. We have a conference scheduled for Atlanta in November. There was a member that put out the idea that we should discuss moving it. As a National Board member to the association I immediately provided my input. My response is below.
As a national board member for this association, I think we need to steer clear of politics as it comes to stuff like this. We can focus on policies that affect our industry like the More through TDM Act. I think it would be ridiculous to move the forum. This legislation has absolutely nothing to do with TDM. Let's focus on what's important to our industry, not state legislation that has nothing to do with our daily work. And, I'm being polite.
This shit has gotten out of fucking hand. I had long text conversations with the president and vice president of the association last night. At one point my blood was boiling. The president actually asked me not to reply any further to the group. Fucking excuse me? Keep in mind there have been about 10 SJWs jump on this bandwagon and give their input as to why the association should do this to prove we are not in the business of "disenfranchising black people", and they want me to sit back and not reply to this fucking nonsense? Good luck with that. I have a long response already formed and once I run it by my boss to make sure it stays within the University's mission statement I plan on shooting it out to the entire association.

Finally, a second person has come forward to speak the truth. Good for him. In today's age this takes balls. Especially when you know you're surrounded by liberals.
The real issue has to do with the actual legislation. There is nothing in the legislation that GA passed that discriminates against anyone. Unless you think certain people are incapable of getting a government approved ID. That is all that was passed, you have to show ID to vote in person and if you vote by mail you have to indicate your DL number or other State ID number. That is it. Delta Airlines requires you to show ID to get on a Plane, MLB requires ID when you pick up your Will Call tickets at the park. Do these "woke" companies think people of color do not buy houses, fly on planes, drive cars, go to the Doctor etc? The corporate "Woke" folks are making something out of nothing and furthering the divide among whites and people of color. Moving the forum only plays into the hands of a certain political point of view who are exploiting the issue to create a divide. The tyranny of low expectation is what is being revealed by those who calling for boycotts. We should not play that divisive game.
