To me they are separate issues. If Blue is blowing assignments, you can't put him out there just because Sanders sucks.

The solution is to find some other vet back off a practice squad and cut Sanders. There has to be someone out there better than him.

I would have been perfectly happy with Chubb.

I sort of feel like new dude on the team has to earn it as well. Sanders didn't do that either. You shouldn't just get a job by virtue of being in the league longer than someone else. I'm all for making Blue work his ass off. If you hand him something he may just think he can coast. But you also need your best players on the field. Playing a dude who is washed to prove a point feels like a waste as well.
You should also lose the job if you can't do it right when the lights are on.

Guys fumble sometimes so it may feel a bit harsh to bench Sanders for a fumble. But it's been a career long problem for him. You better be damn good carrying the ball if you don't have great ball security.

Speaking of backs, is it just me or did those runs Williams made look kind of like Mafah? On the coaches show, Schotty's favorite run seemed to be that one where Williams pushed the pile almost to the goal line. PM can do that too.

I know you want at least one back with more long play potential and Mafah isn't that guy, but that kind of fired me up that Mafah can have a real role here.

The Skins were running our old Noah I out there at corner and he didn't do shit. Other than being a petulant bitch on the sidelines.
