Celebrate all you want; I certainly did when Phillips was gone. But again.... I wasn’t calling him a “fucking piece of shit.” Certainly not anymore after he was gone... I was released from his terror and didn’t have to worry about him any more and I think I actually said some appreciative things about him, while acknowledging that he just wasn’t the right man for the job. In any case, again, my point isn’t about a debate on the merits of anything Garrett related. It’s just like.... wow.... so angry. It’s over. Let it go and look forward, life is more fun that way.

Jones won’t fire Garrett. When the announcement is made it will simply be that Garrett s contract expired and will not be renewed. Even if anyone thinks it’s essentially a firing, in Jones mind it isn’t. He feels without a coach because of an expired contract he will be open to other candidates for the job.

Garrett repeatedly throws his players and fellow coaches under the bus instead of taking accountability.

Garrett (in his, hopeful, last press conference as the head coach of the Cowboys) says that things were out of his control.

He is a POS.

Period.
