what are you saying? Im not sure how we looked so bad against the Jets and then perfect vs the Eagles.Pretty simple, despite what the Garrett sunshine pumper in this forum thinks.

Remember Urban is the guy who only got Zeke 33 yards in a loss to Michigan state ruining their national championship hopes in 2015I'd be skeptical of an Urban Meyer hiring. Not saying he'd be a downgrade or anything, just that he strikes me as more of a recruiter than a top gameday coach or scheme designer.
Tyron Smith, La’el Collins and Amari Cooper.what are you saying? Im not sure how we looked so bad against the Jets and then perfect vs the Eagles.
Tyron Smith, La’el Collins and Amari Cooper.
same old Garret strategy. “Out-talent” them.
I'm saying its easy to know why we stunk against the Jets.what are you saying? Im not sure how we looked so bad against the Jets and then perfect vs the Eagles.
Its also the same guy that got Zeke 200+ in 3 straight games the prior yr to carry them to the national championship.Remember Urban is the guy who only got Zeke 33 yards in a loss to Michigan state ruining their national championship hopes in 2015
You don't even have to hope for it. 25 years and counting now of failure. Its going to happen, especially with this coaching staff. That’s the dilemma for a fan. Love the team or hope they fail again.
What's your definition of "doing well" or "going south?"I don’t pay much attention to whether Jones will keep Garrett or just let his contract run and not renew it. Jones hasn’t made any decisions and the remainder of the season will decide his fate. If the Cowboys do well he stays . If the Cowboys go South again this season he’s gone. That’s the dilemma for a fan. Love the team or hope they fail again.
Doing well is going to the second round of the playoffs. Going South is missing the playoffs. What's your definition of "doing well" or "going south?"

Speaking on 105.3 The Fan in Dallas, Jerry Jones was asked about the importance of a good relationship between the owner and head coach. “Is it important that you have a ‘Yes man’ there from any perspective? It’s important not to have a, ‘Yes man, there,” Jones said. “Jason Garrett is not a ‘Yes man.’ I don’t say that, must-me protest. I say that because he’s not. Is Jason respectful of the order of things? Of course he is.”

But it was easy to fire a coach who won back to back super bowls. That's the problem. It's hard to fire a coach who makes the playoffs.
I don't think he actually said it. I think it was inferred in an article as speculation.I'd never heard Jerry say that he was "looking for reasons" to keep Garrett, gotta go find that.
The Cowboys owner, in fact, said he wants to keep Garrett beyond this season after Garrett’s contract expires.
“I am looking for reasons. I’m looking for reasons to keep him,” Jones said. “It’s merited here. It’s hard to get an effective coach and get it locked in with all you have to retool and redo. I’m comfortable.
