What a waste of so many careers.

Romo, Witten, Dez, Ware (lucky that the Cowboys went against his wishes and cut him or he too would have nothing to show for his career).

And while these guys (Dak, Zeke, the O-line, etc.) are young enough to still do something, you just can't be so cavalier with the prime years of NFL athletes because it can all end in an instant. And yet, Jerry Jones was willing to throw away all their best years simply to appease his own ego and seek the sort of credit and recognition that never was going to come his way even had the Cowboys won a Super Bowl doing things their unorthodox way.

I don't get how there aren't more current and former players upset with Jerry Jones the way Troy Aikman is.

What a shame.
you have to wonder about that. there have to be more like Troy, but even Troy wasnt always so outspoken as he has been lately.

It’s been growing over the last 2-3 years, that’s for sure. I don’t think he’d ever been as openly critical of Jerry and the Cowboys’ culture more than he has this season. I think he’s hit his limit with this bullshit.

the problem is that most of the Dallas media guys (Troy, Moose, Irvin, Romo, Woodson) played with or were coached by Garrett and are hesitant to slam him

I haven’t wished for a large Get The Fuck Out party since Alan Ball was on the team. This wish is MUCH bigger.

Iam has two weeks off (haven't you heard?) so I've instructed him to go to the party store for streamers and kazoos in anticipation of this blessed event.

Why all the hate? Most of you wanted the season to be a failure so you could have you agenda of firing Garrett and disrespecting Jones. It’s pretty much done so why aren’t you dancing in the street? The team lost the most critical game of the season and it was such a craving for some you that you cheered the idea of losing to the most despicable foe the Cowboys face. Put away the whip and break out the champagne. Your time has arrived.

Not true. We were all stoked at 3-0. But once the season turned sour and there was a real chance to finally get rid of Garrett, our heads overruled our hearts.

The reason I'm not dancing yet is, they still have a slight chance to make the playoffs and Garrett still isn't gone quite yet. Once that red-headed POS is officially gone you will see much dancing in the streets. Until it is finalized, I put nothing past Jerry.

Before the season started some were already playing their song of we need a failing season because it will be the end of Garrett.

Okay but the dancing is on the head of the team.

I agree, but I also agree he needs to go. Hate to say it because he is easily one of my favorite all time Cowboys, but he is done.
Agreed. Witten's time has come and gone. But I'm not gonna shit on him for wanting to play as absolutely long as he's allowed to. If I was in his shoes, I'd do the same thing.

If Jerry owned an NBA team, Wilt Chamberlain would still be playing. And he's been dead for 20 years.
