I disagree. I think a second straight up for Foles is pretty good value for Philly.Still a bad deal for Philly to me.

Actually Breer corrected himself and said the teams just swapped 2nds with Philly getting a conditional pick in '16. I read speculation of packaging Bradford to move up for Mariota but they could've done the same with Foles. Crazy.Makes that trade look a lot better. I doubt Bradford is being looked at as a long term answer, and neither was Foles. I bet Philly was much more interested in that 2nd rounder, as Bradford will only keep the seat warm. Wouldn't surprise me if the idea is to try and package that 2nd rounder with others to move up for Mariota if he starts to slip.
While I do agree that Foles isn't worth a second, they have shit at QB now. And, don't come trying to justify it with Bradford being the answer, cause that's stupid talk. Now, it can be argued that they are planning to use the pick to move up, but that is a terribly risky move to make.I disagree. I think a second straight up for Foles is pretty good value for Philly.
Yeah, it's back to terrible trade status.Actually Breer corrected himself and said the teams just swapped 2nds with Philly getting a conditional pick in '16. I read speculation of packaging Bradford to move up for Mariota but they could've done the same with Foles. Crazy.
Surefire HOFer, right there.Jake Locker is retiring. Wow.
This flurry of trades is crazy. Especially considering they are involving names with star power. I don't ever remember seeing anything like this.
Totally agree. Once again it is a stupid trade for the Eagles. Bradford will die in that system.Yeah, it's back to terrible trade status.
I doubt he even takes a snap in an Eagles uniform. I bet he goes to another team (Tennessee) when Kelly trades up.Totally agree. Once again it is a stupid trade for the Eagles. Bradford will die in that system.
@NFLCharean: Dwayne Harris getting paid by Giants: Reportedly 5 years, $17.5 million with $4 million signing bonus and $7.1 million fully guaranteed.Dwayne Harris to the Giants for a Cole Beasley type contract.
I'm not that concerned about Durant. He was a career journeyman with limited talent. Doesn't mean I didn't want him back, but I didn't view him as starting material. Now that we lost Justin Durant and possibly McClain, I guess we'll be sniffing the LB's in round 1.
Dumb deal for a decent punt returner.@NFLCharean: Dwayne Harris getting paid by Giants: Reportedly 5 years, $17.5 million with $4 million signing bonus and $7.1 million fully guaranteed.
Where do you get McClain is signing elsewhere?I'm not that concerned about Durant. He was a career journeyman with limited talent. Doesn't mean I didn't want him back, but I didn't view him as starting material.
McClain on the other hand worries me. He is a legit freak talent. We have invested the time and effort in bringing him along. I think we need to bring him back. I'd still draft a LBer as insurance after that but it at least reduces the need a back-burner position.
It's odd though. Is Bradford more sought after then Foles by someone? Otherwise why wouldn't you just deal Foles as part of the trade up.I doubt he even takes a snap in an Eagles uniform. I bet he goes to another team (Tennessee) when Kelly trades up.
They didn't sign Sanchez back to be Bradford's backup. He's a Mariota placeholder.
