It's a perfect example of how there is too much luck involved in winning the superbowl. You can't put all your eggs in the basket of one season because even the most talented team in the NFL has far less then 50/50 odds of winning it all.
No it was a perfect example of an offensive coordinator so used to arrogantly spooging all over the other team with his pass offense that he forgot his running game almost completely.

16 total rushing attempts vs. 48 pass attempts in a game where the team never trailed until the end and even then by just 3 points. The DL simply had to peel their ears back-- abjectly retarded arrogance.

But at least the Pats had an 18-0 record to based that arrogance.

Jason Garrett called 48 passing attempts in a game vs. Green Bay in 2013 where we led by as much as 23 points vs 18 rush attempts that averaged 7.7 YPC. If he just kept handing off the game is flat out over.
